Lora was born from a simple desire
to recreate the connection we find in the wild — where nature, adventure and friendship meet. We believe we are not merely guests in the natural world, but an essential part of it.
Our wish is to bring together like-minded women in the Italian Alps to rediscover their own rhythm through food, connection and flow. Following the secrets of the earth and the wisdom of local trails, we’ve created a space to slow down and share.
Whether we are hiking through Alpine wildflowers or gathering around a warm table, Lora is an invitation to belong — a community where being outdoors is not just an escape but the most natural way to live.

Lora is our invitation to slow down, disconnect from the noise, and enjoy the simple, powerful well-being that only the Alps can give us. Whether we are hiking through Alpine wildflowers, exploring majestic glacier views, or gathering around a warm table for a traditional dinner, this retreat is a safe space to share the experience with like-minded women and find your own flow.
We dream of a world where being outdoors is the most natural way to live our daily lives. Which is why we've designed a weekend that balances movement, discovery, and deep connection.
Expect everything that a regular Lora experience has to offer, with some extra delicious sides:
- We are joining forces with our friends at Merrell, who will be hosting a special welcome aperitivo and gifting each guest exclusive trail gear for our weekend on the paths.
- From a breathtaking hike through the majestic Morteratsch Glacier views in Switzerland to a slow, panoramic walk up to Malga San Colombano.
- An exclusive flower workshop at the Bormio Botanical Garden, followed by cozy dinners sharing authentic local dishes in a traditional agriturismo and at our Alpine home.

We knew of each other for a long time, but we didn’t really meet until the summer of 2024 in Courmayeur. We were both working as photographers at an ultra-trail race and our friendship started on the long walk up to the mountain hut where we were staying.
By the first few kilometers, we knew we would be great friends.
The best part happened at dinner. We were looking at the menù, wanting to try every single dish. Since we couldn't order everything, we decided to each pick a different plate and share them so we could taste as much as possible. That moment — sharing food and laughing in a crowded refuge — is when everything clicked.
Getting to know each other, we realized we shared the same love for the mountains, authentic food and the easy connection that happens when you are outdoors.
Without even realizing it, LORA was already born. It was only in 2026, talking about future projects — things we dreamed of doing, ideas we had been carrying around for a while — that we understood we had both been thinking about the same thing.
We wanted to create a space for other women to experience exactly what we had found: adventure, friendship and the joy of sharing a table in the wild.
